Haiti and Romania Orphanages are still facing ongoing struggles.
In 2000, Jo began going to Romania to serve as a member of a medical team. Since then she has returned yearly to assist in caring for the children of Casa Iosef Orphanage, providing outreach to families in need and assisting a Gypsy village of 2,000.
It was following the devastating earthquake of January 2010 that Sea of Dreams was established. In October of 2011, The Community Orphanage of Tipalmiste was opened serving 33 children between the ages of 2-12 years of age.
Sea of Dreams is dedicated to supporting children and those in need of care.
Quote From “Fourth Uncle in the Mountain”by Marjorie Pivar and Quang Van Nguyen:
“People who pray and meditate every day help others without even knowing it. Their spirits grow big like trees; their branches extend over their neighbors, family, and friends.”
“The nature of God is a circle of which the center is everywhere and the
circumference is nowhere.”
Orphans and children living in Haiti and Romania range in the hundreds of thousands. With out the generous support of you and other organizations it would not be possible to care for those who desperately need the basics of food, shelter and clothing. Every one of us deserve at least this.
